Toxoplasmosis

Toxoplasmosis is a protozoal disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii. Cats act as the intermediate host and can infect humans, but cats don’t normally show symptoms of disease themselves. To prevent developing toxoplasmosis.

  • Don’t feed your cat raw red meat especially kittens
  • Wash all fresh product before eating it
  • Make sure meat is properly cooked
  • Wash utensils that have touched raw meat
  • Wash your hands after cleaning your cats litter tray
